Induction week for first semester students

Traditionally, the first-semester students of each academic year are always welcomed at the beginning of the winter semester at the so-called "kick-off" at the Institute of Sport Science at Leibniz University. This year's kick-off will take place on Wednesday, 11 October at 12 noon on the grounds of the University Sports Campus at Moritzwinkel.
The official welcome will be given by the managing director of the institute. The staff of the Institute, the student council and the university sports team will also introduce themselves. All "older" students from the higher semesters are also invited to the event to welcome their new fellow students. The graduates of the last year are bid farewell with a small gift.
For first-semester students, study advising sessions will take place directly after the semester kick-off so that everyone can meet the end of the enrolment process at 9.00 a.m. on Thursday, 12.10.2023.
Special study counselling for the winter semester 2023/2024 (for first-semester students)
Information on the study of Physical Education and on the enrolment procedure for all courses will be offered to all Bachelor and Master students on the following days.
