From the main railway station, walk approx. 400 m through the city centre to the "Kröpcke" station, or take the tram line 1, 2, 3 or 7 for one stop.

From the station "Kröpcke" you can reach the university in about 5 minutes.
Take tram line 4 in the direction of Garbsen or line 5 in the direction of Stöcken.

To get to the Sports Institute, get off at the "Leibniz Universität" stop.

You will see the Welfenschloss (main building of the university) in front of you.
Do not walk in the direction of the Welfenschloss, but cross the railway tracks and go through the avenue area - you will come directly to Lodyweg. Follow this street for 200 m. Now turn right into Moritzwinkel.

By car from the north via the A2 motorway

Coming by car from the north, take the A2.

Take the exit "Herrenhausen/Zentrum" onto the B6 (Westschnellweg).
After approx. 8 km, turn left at the traffic lights onto Bremer Damm towards the city centre.
After approx. 2 km this motorway ends at Königsworther Platz. In front of you, diagonally to the left, you will see the Continental high-rise building of the university location Königsworther Platz.

To get to the Institute of Sports Science, you now have to make a U-turn and after driving a few metres in the opposite direction, turn right into Jägerstraße (towards the Wilhelm-Busch-Museum and sports fields). After 250 m turn left into Lodyweg and follow this street for 200 m. Now turn right into Moritzwinkel.

Parking is available directly in front of the building.

By car from the south via the A7 motorway

If you are coming from the south on the A7, take the exit "Hannover-Süd" in the direction of "Messe" onto the B 6 (Messeschnellweg).

As soon as you have passed the exhibition centre, turn onto the B 65 (Südschnellweg) towards the city centre (Zentrum). Leave the expressway at the "Zentrum" exit and turn right at the traffic lights onto Hildesheimer Straße. Hildesheimer Straße ends at the City-Ring onto which you turn left in the direction of "Universität / Herrenhäuser Gärten". You will be guided via Aegidientorplatz, Friedrichswall, Leibnizufer, Brühlstraße to Königsworther Platz.

On your right you will now see the Continental high-rise building of the university location Königsworther Platz. To get to the main university and the other locations, drive straight ahead across Königsworther Platz into Nienburger Straße (towards Herrenhäuser Gärten).
