From the main train station, walk approx. 400 m through the city centre to "Kröpcke" station, or take the tram line 1, 2, 3 or 7.

From the station "Kröpcke" you can reach the university in about 5 minutes.
Take tram line 4 in the direction of Garbsen or line 5 in the direction of Stöcken.

To get to the Sports Institute, get off at the "Leibniz Universität" stop.

You will see the Welfenschloss (main building of the university) in front of you.
Do not walk in the direction of Welfenschloss, but cross the railway tracks and cross the avenue area - you will come directly to Lodyweg. Follow this road for 200 metres. Now turn right into Moritzwinkel.

By car from the north via the A2 motorway

If you are travelling by car from the north, take the A2 motorway.

Take the "Herrenhausen/Zentrum" exit onto the B6 (Westschnellweg).
After approx. 8 km, turn left at the traffic lights onto Bremer Damm towards the city centre.
After approx. 2 km, this dual carriageway ends at Königsworther Platz. In front of you, you will see the Continental tower block of the Königsworther Platz university site diagonally to your left.

To get to the Institute of Sports Science, make a U-turn and after a few metres turn right into Jägerstraße in the opposite direction (towards the Wilhelm-Busch-Museum and sports grounds). After 250 metres, turn left into Lodyweg and follow this road for 200 metres. Now turn right into Moritzwinkel.

Parking is available directly in front of the building.

By car from the south via the A7 motorway

If you are coming from the south on the A7 motorway, take the "Hannover-Süd" exit in the direction of the trade fair centre onto the B 6 (Messeschnellweg).

As soon as you have passed the trade fair centre, turn onto the B 65 (Südschnellweg) towards the city centre. Leave the expressway at the "Zentrum" exit and turn right at the traffic lights onto Hildesheimer Straße. Hildesheimer Straße ends at City-Ring, which you turn left onto in the direction of "Universität / Herrenhäuser Gärten". You will be directed via Aegidientorplatz, Friedrichswall, Leibnizufer and Brühlstraße to Königsworther Platz.

You will now see the Continental tower block of the Königsworther Platz university site on your right. To reach the main university and the other campuses, drive straight ahead across Königsworther Platz into Nienburger Straße (towards Herrenhäuser Gärten).
